I used Bernat Blanket Yarn to make this,  using this pattern Crochet Baby Star Blanket.   I must yes I both love and hate this yarn. It is so soft and fun to touch but a pain to work with.   And, the finished product is heavy. I would be hesitant to use this kind of yarn again. At least for a blanket. Maybe better for things like water balloons and dolls.  If I remember right I used 3 skeins of white and 5 or 6 of the multi blue to make this blanket.  It’s on a Queen size bed in this picture, to give you an idea and to how big it is.     I added the yellow stars (one on each side) I did not like the way the center hole looked so I covered it.    I like the pattern and want to try it with regular yarn, it works up fast.
