You can make this bunny with a knitted or crochet square.  It’s a easy project that would be great for a beginner.    I wasn’t super happy with the one I made but it’s not like I wasted much yarn and my kid had fun with it.  You could make it make noise by adding a bell or something in the body before you sew it up.
